The house in three phrases

Hosting, not serving. Three roots. Local produce.

  1. Hosting, not serving

Whoever walks in is not a customer. They are a guest of the house.

  2. Three roots

Taíno, African and Spanish, on equal footing, plus the family's Italian bond.

  3. Local produce

Bought from small producers. At the table, we tell where each ingredient comes from.

02 — Our story

Mamá Mambo was the woman who healed, cooked and gathered the family around the table. Today her name returns to the table.

Chef Maribel Feliz Saldaña, trained in Emilia-Romagna, and her daughter Giulia Dalmonte Feliz, a cultural anthropologist, opened a place in a historic house in the Colonial City where people cook with their hands, learn where each ingredient comes from, and eat at a long table with strangers who end up feeling like family.
